Day 5 of construction, although it's more like destruction right now! So far, we've gotten rid of the floor down to the concrete base, and we're starting on the floor sinks. What used to be a carpeted place with wood paneling and partly-cobblestone walls is now (almost!) an empty concrete room. Smells like PROGRESS!
That's an excellent remake of the "American Gothic" photo - I like your version better. :)
